25% IEEPA tariff on goods of India over Russian oil ends
The additional 25% tariff on products of India, imposed in August 2025 under IEEPA because India was importing Russian oil, no longer applies to goods entered from Feb 7, 2026 (Executive Order 14384).
From Feb 7, 2026, products of India no longer pay the additional 25% duty imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act by Executive Order 14329 of Aug 6, 2025. Executive Order 14384, signed Feb 6, 2026, ended it for goods entered on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern standard time on Feb 7, 2026, and terminated headings 9903.01.84 through 9903.01.89 and U.S. note 2(z).
The order says India "has committed to stop directly or indirectly importing Russian Federation oil", and it asks Commerce to monitor whether India resumes. Where duties must be refunded, the order says CBP's standard refund procedures apply.
